Jim Pfeiffer Philanthropy Award—Tribute Book

The Conference of Delegates of California Bar Associations (CDCBA) is pleased to honor Joanne M. Garvey by presenting her with its third annual Jim Pfeiffer Philanthropy Award.

Long recognized as a leader and mentor to, in particular, women lawyers, Joanne Garvey has been a force to be reckoned with at the Conference and other Bar related activities throughout most of her illustrious legal career. She has also been a steadfast supporter of the CDCBA as a forum for debate and vehicle for improving the law.

Joanne’s work with and support of the CDCBA is in keeping with the example set by Jim Pfeiffer, the man for whom the award is named. Jim Pfeiffer made himself available as a colleague and mentor to assure the survival of the organization. In awarding Joanne M. Garvey this award, CDCBA continues the tradition of acknowledging its debt to both the man for whom the award was named and its honorees.

Camera-ready digital ads must be submitted in Acrobat (.pdf), InDesign (.indd); Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or as a high-resolution (300dpi) CMYK image in eps format.

If using Acrobat (.pdf) format, please embed fonts; embed images in CMYK color mode (NO RGB IMAGES, please); use Press Quality presets, if available; use Acrobat 5 (PDF 1.4) compatibility.

You may send ads as email attachments to execdir@cdcba.org or mail them on a CD to the address below. Full page ads are 7.5"x10". Half page ads are 7.5"x5". Please email or call if you have formatting questions, and we will supply additional formatting guidelines. For technical questions on ad production or delivery, write webmaster@cdcba.org.

Alternatively, please send us an e-mail with your message and we will typeset the ad for you. Note: this does not include graphics. If you wish to include pictures or graphics in your ad, you must provide a digital copy in one of the above formats and send it to execdir@cdcba.org
